The Rehearsal Deputy Stage Manager & Operator coordinates technical elements during rehearsals and assists during the technical rehearsals. They will then hand over the prompt copy to the team member who runs the show for the run of performances.
Responsibilities
- Attend all rehearsals, creating rehearsal notes which are distributed to the creative team.
- Support the director and actors during rehearsal processes.
- Run technical elements such as lighting and sound during rehearsals.
- Create the prompt copy, documenting all cues and changes for the production.
- Ensure there is a smooth handover to the team member who will be running the show during performances.
