Deputy Stage Manager and Operator, responsible for calling the show and operating either the lighting desk, the QLab system, or both during performances.
Responsibilities
- Attend all rehearsals, creating rehearsal notes which are distributed to the creative team.
- Create and maintain the prompt copy, documenting all cues and changes for the production.
- Call cues for lighting and technical effects throughout the performance (operating if needed).
- Calling or operating the QLab system during performances, ensuring sound cues are executed accurately.
- Coordinate with the technical team to troubleshoot lighting and audio issues as needed.
- Ensure communication between departments to maintain performance consistency.
